In 1999, Smith recruited friends like guitarist Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), singer Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow), bassist and singer Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), drummer Camine Appice (Vanilla Fudge), guitarist Howard Leese (Heart), singer Kelly Hansen (Foreigner), bassist Chuck Wright (Quiet Riot) and drummer Richie Onari (Sweet) to record the critically acclaimed Stuart Smith’s Heaven & Earth. This incredible debut album by rock/blues band Heaven & Earth features British guitarist Stuart Smith (who critics have compared to Beck, Blackmore, Clapton, and Page).

In 1975, a third of the Deep Purple played their last concert, what did not guess or most of the group, nor the audience … Ritchie Blackmore was unhappy with the majority of songs on the album "" Stormbringer ". Together with Ronnie James Dio was recorded solo single (which grew in the whole album) and, finally, Richie decided to leave Deep Purple and form a new group RAINBOW. During a short break between tours, Blackmore informed management of his decision. was decided to record the last concerts MKIII in Graz, Paris and Saarbrücken, using the notorious mobile recording studio "Rolling Stones" (Machine Head).

He has recorded and performed as a solo artist and as a member of several hard rock and heavy metal bands including Rainbow, the Michael Schenker Group, Alcatrazz, and Impellitteri. Sometimes titled 'the most powerful voice in rock' by his fans, Bonnet is known for his powerful voice and wide vocal range. His singing has been noted as 'very loud' by both his contemporaries and himself, and he claims to be a self-taught singer with 'no discipline for lessons'. Line-Up is the third album released by Graham Bonnet.
