Rikas were founded in 2016 in Stuttgart. Music has always been done by the four gold-throats and heartbreakers. They have known each other since childhood, playing in the school band at the age of 13, 14, and then on the streets of their hometown. After leaving school, I started walking: two summers criss-crossing Europe. Zurich, Milan, Nice, London, Paris. With songs by Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and the Beatles in their luggage and a sign on the guitar case: "Schlafplatz gesucht!" A thrilling experience for the band. Her music came straight to her, the reactions even more urgent. The glow in the eyes of the people in front of them, the twitching in their legs … Since then they are addicted to it.

It's an irresistible budget-priced summary of their prime Motown recordings. There may be a couple of noteworthy songs missing, but many of their best-known songs are here, including "The Tracks of My Tears," "Ooo Baby Baby," "The Tears of a Clown" and "I Second That Emotion." Serious fans will want something more extensive, but this is an excellent introduction for neophytes and a great sampler for casual fans, considering its length and price. That doesn't erase the ridiculousness of the series title, but the silliness is excusable when the music and the collections are good.
