"Ten New Songs" was co-written and produced by Leonard Cohen and Sharon Robinson, and was Cohen's first album recorded after he had spent a several years (starting in 1994) at the Mt. Baldy Zen Center in Southern California. The album was the first Cohen album that was recorded and produced digitally.
