Celebrating the 75th birthday year of Roy Orbison with the long-awaited release of Roy Orbison: The Monument Singles Collection. A 2 CD/1 DVD set including all the A&B sides recorded by Roy Orbison for the groundbreaking Monument label during an electrifying peak from 1959-1966. Restored to pristine mono mixes for the first time since their original 7" vinyl releases, Roy Orbison: The Monument Singles Collection presents The Big O's core classic catalog the way it's meant to sound. Plus the first-ever DVD release of Orbison performing nine songs from "The Monument Concert 1965."

Although technically he never left, Alvin Lee is back. Recorded in 2003 at original Elvis guitarist Scotty Moore's Nashville home studio, with Moore as the mastermind behind the sessions (although due to ear problems he only plays on two tracks), along with Presley's drummer D.J. Fontana on the skins, this would be a listenable effort regardless of who was singing. With ex-Ten Years After's Alvin Lee playing guitar and taking the lead vocals it's a powerfully compelling disc that approximates many of the Sun label greats. Recorded predominantly live in the studio and sounding it, these songs - mostly originals written expressly for the sessions and an unexpectedly rip-snorting run through of the TYA chestnut "I'm Going Home" - find Lee at his most enthusiastic…

King Creole is the sixth album by Elvis Presley, issued by RCA Victor, LPM 1884 in mono in September 1958, recorded in three days at Radio Recorders in Hollywood. It contains songs written and recorded expressly for the film, and peaked at at number two on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. It followed the film release by over ten weeks. It was certified Gold on July 15, 1999 by the Recording Industry Association of America.
