A courageous move, a courageous album. With the death of vocalist Lee Brilleaux in April 1994, the story of Dr. Feelgood came to a grinding, heartbreaking halt. He had been the last surviving original member for more years than any other original member had been on board, an institution within an institution. How could the band even dream of continuing on without him? At first, they couldn't. But as the band's own authorized biography, Tony Moon's Down by the Jetty, points out that time is a great healer. So is the encouragement of friends, fans, and family.

Nowadays, what's the point of chronicling this "Remasters" when the group released "Mothership" in 2007, which makes it obsolete? Because this record is historic. It is the first to be officially released under the LED ZEPPELIN name since "Coda" in 1982. The 1985 reformations for Live Aid and the 1988 reformation for the 40th anniversary, with Jason Bonham behind the sons, son of the late John n ' will have been occasional and here, there is no place for a fanfare of the Airship. Jimmy Page just wanted to deliver a compilation worthy of the name years after the band's smashing debut, years after a half-hearted ending. How many of you have known LED ZEPPELIN with this "Remasters"? How many of you have had a breath of nostalgia when you saw this cover?

One of the most distinguished figures of the Classical period, the Italian composer Luigi Boccherini (1743–1805) was revered by 18th-century listeners and musicians for the charm, elegance and lyrical beauty of his music. Although his legacy has been undervalued in modern times, this new 37 CD box set, the most comprehensive on the market, invites listeners to rediscover the distinctive musical voice and graceful style that won Boccherini acclaim during his own lifetime.

Following the successful publication on Cappriccio of all Shostakovich’s symphonies on CD, Dmitrij Kitajenko once again collaborates with the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln to perform the complete recording of all of Sergey Prokofiev’s seven symphonies. Together they embark on a very challenging project, both in terms of time and level of technical difficulty, a project that demanded huge efforts and potential from the orchestra conductor alike. Prokofiev’s symphonies could not be more varied. They were written at different times throughout the composer’s life and each one individually reflects the pressure of political dictatorship and forced submission to merciless censorship that was prevalent throughout the Soviet-era. On the other hand, the huge energy, the hopes and desires, emotional and social messages conveyed between the lines could not be vanquished even by dictators and censors. Dimitrji Kitajenko, the Lenningrad born conductor, was a child of the late Russian-socialist period so knows exactly how to decrypt the text and shows us how in every single phase of this new complete recording.

Tangerine Dream (1967). Tangerine Dream probably has the edge as the best of this British psychedelic group's two albums, but not by much. A long sought-after psychedelic rarity, it includes several of Kaleidoscope's best songs: "Flight from Ashiya," "Dive into Yesterday," "The Murder of Lewis Tollani," and especially the fragile ballad "Please Excuse My Face."
Faintly Blowing (1969). For their second album, Kaleidoscope delivered something an awful lot like their debut, a body of pleasant, trippy, spacy raga-rock, with the main difference that they pushed the wattage a little harder on their instruments - they'd also been performing pretty extensively by the time of their second long-player, and a lot of the music here was material that they'd worked out on-stage in very solid versions…

The myth of Orpheus and Eurydice is one of opera's most potent archetypes, the subject of the earliest experiments in the genre by Peri and Monteverdi. But Offenbach's wickedly witty operetta uses it as a vehicle to lampoon stuffy artistic conventions as well as the social and political realities of Paris in the Second Empire. In this sublimely ridiculous scenario, Eurydice is a flighty flirt only too happy to be separated from husband Orpheus, a dullard violin teacher, when Pluto kidnaps her into his realm.
