3 CBR's | DC Comics | Release Dates Oct 13 - Dec 8 2010 | 59.93 MB Total

The new six-issue miniseries from England that unabashedly delights in calling attention to its... well, being British. There is the British slang, the many asides, throwaways and in-jokes--not to mention the gags bursting out of virtually every page--that reference British culture and particularly its superhero comics history and at the same time poking tongue-in-cheek fun at its perceived second-class standing its American counterpart. There's even a glossary included just in case you get lost with some of the terms used. The British creative team together have created a world that's visually rich, unique but with real depth despite its crackerjack pace to go with the series' episodic storytelling style for its unforgettable duo of title characters , the British Batman and Robin. Highly recommended.

2 CBZ's in RAR (Minutemen) | Marvel Comics | Release Dates Nov 3 & Dec 2 2010 | 56.26 MB Total

A 2-issue anthology of tales of... right! The Women of Marvel Comics. The first issue was published online as a Marvel Digital Comics Exclusive and was originally solicited for four issues. Then the Marvel folks decided they better publish it in comic book form and so they did. They must have all their hands full with , and titles (you know--publicity for upcoming movies)--I find it hard to believe sales are that poor--that the second issue was re-solicited for only two. Which is better than nothing, I guess. Both HQ Minutemen scans by the one and only DTs.

Stargate: Vala Mal Doran #1-4 (of 4) Complete
4 CBR's in RAR | Dynamite Entertainment | Release Dates May 19- Oct 20 2010 | 85.24 MB Total

A 4-issue miniseries from Dynamite Entertainment that's a spin-off from the popular science-fiction television series and that centers around fan-favorite title character Vala Mal Doran. Played by Claudia Black on the TV series, Vala is a scheming, unscrupulous, conniving, thieving con artist with a mysterious agenda. (Just the kind of girl you’d love to take home to mother – as long as your mother watches her wallet.) Writer Brandon Jerwa has assembled around Vala an elite team a la for a huge heist the likes of which the "Stargate" universe has never seen. The series is actually set in two different timelines. The first two and a half issues take place before Vala joined up with SG-1. while the second half of the series takes place in the current continuity of "Stargate SG-1." This dichotomy sets up two sides to the series: on one hand, it’s a classic heist story with plenty of twists and turns; on the other hand, there’s the riff of old mistakes coming back to haunt you. The mistakes are Vala's, the repercussions of which aren’t just affecting her livelihood-–they’re threatening the entire Stargate universe. All high-quality Minutemen-Meganubis scans.
