Signum Regis

The melodic metal band SIGNUM REGIS will release their first ever live album “Made in Switzerland” on CD and digital on June 10th via Beyond the Storm Productions. The album was recorded in Wiedlisbach, Switzerland last year and was mastered by Tony Lindgren (Amorphis, Dragonforce, Powerwolf).

“For the title song Flag Of Hope, we invited our good friends, singers, who are all somehow connected to SIGNUM REGIS. Göran Edman was the lead singer of the band in the early days and recorded with us the 1st and the 2nd album. Mayo Petranin (Castaway, Symphonity) was our lead singer in 2014-2018, Matt Smith (Theocracy) and Samuel Nyman (Manimal) were our special guests on the Exodus album (2013), David Åkesson has been working with us externally since our 2019 release “The Seal Of A New World”.

This is a freshly formed band with a birth certificate that sets the date of birth somehwere in 2007. So, in the band’s debut release you will find catchy melodies and strong chorus lines that can easily take your mind to bands like the late HELLOWEEN, Yngwie Malmsteen and maybe some early RHAPSODY (especialy due to the keyboards) and if you listen more careful you will discover some traditional Heavy Metal touches (think of RAINBOW with Joe Lynn Turner on the vocals).

"Through The Storm" is a new 6 track EP from the melodic metal band Signum Regis. The new Signum Regis vocalist Mayo Petranin handles all the vocals on this recording, compared to their latest concept album 'Exodus' that involved many different vocalists. There are four new tracks on the EP, as well as a re-recorded version of 'All Over The World' from their debut album, and a cover version of the Yngwie Malmsteen classic 'Vengeance/Liar'.

"Chapter IV: The Reckoning" is the follow up to the very successful 'Through The Storm EP'. Signum Regis keeps improving with every release and 'Chapter IV: The Reckoning' is probably their best album so far! Perfect for fans of Helloween, Impellitteri and Theocracy!

"Exodus" feat. guest vocals by Lance King [ex. Pyramaze, Balance of Power], Michael Vescera [Obsession, Animetal USA], Matt Smith [Theocracy], Daísa Munhoz [Vandroya, Soulspell], Eli Prinsen [Sacred Warrior, The Sacrificed], Samuel Nyman [Manimal], Thomas L.Winkler [Gloryhammer, Emerald], Göran Edman [ex. Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum] and Mayo Petranin. The album was mastered by Tommy Hansen [Helloween, Jorn, Circus Maximus] and the artwork was created by Felipe Machado Franco [Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire]. "Exodus" is a historical concept album about the Israelites who were enslaved in ancient Egypt.

The quintet has significantly progressed with its songwriting since its 2008 self-titled debut album. Signum Regis might not get much love in North America, but it has built a loyal following in Eastern Europe in its 10-year existence. On its ten highly-infectious tracks, the band gives the listener plenty of memorable moments. The 5th album from Signum Regis is entitled "Decennium Primum" and it was officially released on Mar 17th 2017.

"The Eyes Of Power" is a one of a kind conceptual metal album. The whole concept revolves around real historical events that defined the Roman – Persian relations during the late antiquity (224 – 630 AD) in the Middle East. The album feat. Göran Edman [ex Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum] on vocals, and is mastered by Greg Reely [Fear Factory, Machine Head, Coldplay]. “The Eyes of Power” is a masterpiece of epic, melodic metal. The debut from XsavioR is an attractive and intelligent CD from some of Sweden’s best musicians. Putting their music into a specific genre isn’t easy. Definitely progressive! However at times you hear and feel hard rock, aor, metal, fusion and maybe even a little jazz. It is definitely varied enough to satisfy the taste’s of fans of bands like Mind’s Eye, Flower King’s, A.C.T., Saga, Yes, Queensrsyche and maybe even Queen.
