Here is the ultimate career reprospective for one of the most successful UK bands of all time. Spanning Slade's entire recording career, it features 84 tracks - monster hits, key album cuts and rarities. It just seems incredible that Slade have had to wait this long for a Box Set when several lesser bands have had more than they actually deserve. Slade were the undoubted Kings of the 70s Charts, their singles and albums were pretty much unbeatable. I think if you listen to this set you will hear the story of a band that reached an unbelievable commercial high and then for some reason when they were making some of their best records the popularity started to decline. I bought this on the day of release and it sounds absolutely brilliant! The remastered tracks are all stunning and it just shows a band with two of the best songwriters ever to come out of the UK.
Rockets were a French space rock band that formed in Paris in 1974. Some of the former members had played together since 1970 in a local band called Crystal. In their most successful era (1977–1982) the line-up comprised vocalist Christian Le Bartz, bassist and vocalist "Little" Gérard L'Her, guitarist and keyboardist Alain Maratrat, drummer and percussionist Alain Groetzinger, and keyboardist Fabrice Quagliotti…
George Jones' classic Musicor recordings have been out of circulation for years while a lawsuit was resolved. George Jones' Musicor recordings were never issued systematically or in full until now! George Jones' Musicor recordings were never issued in premium sound quality until now! The set includes 20 previously unissued recordings. Includes all-time classic George Jones hits, such as When The Grass Grows Over Me, I'll Share My World With You, As Long As I Live, and one of the greatest ever country classics, A Good Year For The Roses! Plus the earliest duets with Tammy Wynette! The second of two boxes. Together, they include every Musicor recording, except the duets with Gene Pitney (available elsewhere on Bear Family)!
Despite being renowned in certain parts of the world (especially in Italy and their hometown of Paris), the space-age outfit Rockets remains largely obscure – even though they arrived on the scene at almost he same exact time as Kraftwerk and prefaced Devo by several years. The multi-membered outfit originally formed in 1972, under the name Crystal, performing on-stage in their regular street clothes. But by 1974, Crystal had evolved into Rocket Men, issuing a debut self-titled single, while its members began to assume the identities of aliens; complete with silver makeup covering their skin, grey contact lenses, space suits, and bald heads.
Nancy Sandra Sinatra (born June 8, 1940) is an American singer and actress. She is the daughter of singer/actor Frank Sinatra, and remains best known for her 1966 signature hit "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'".

Growing up as the child of one of the greatest icons in American music can't be easy, but Nancy Sinatra managed to create a sound and style for herself fully separate from that of her very famous father, and her sexy but strong-willed persona has endured with nearly the same strength as the image of the Chairman of the Board.
