Since the collapse of its once-glorious empire in 1911, China has seen decades of epic turmoil and upheavals, emerging in the new century as both an authoritarian megastate and an economic powerhouse, poised to become an imposing global force.

How can a nation create the conditions for economic growth and prosperity, improving people's lives on both the individual and national levels? Guitarist Wolf Hoffmann comments on the album title, "'The Rise Of Chaos' is something I have been thinking about often. It describes a condition which is slowly spreading around the world.
