How much time, money and energy have you wasted hitting on a girl only to be shot down? Does this happen to you over and over again? Maybe you even thought you had a great conversation going and then all of sudden it’s like someone just flipped a switch and suddenly she’s no longer interested…shot down….again… Yeah, I know… It used to happen to me too…all the time.
When Thin Lizzy first started Eric played the Blues to enthusiastic crowds in bars and clubs around Belfast, before "Whiskey In The Jar" became a huge hit and propelled the band, and especially front man Phil Lynott, to legendary stardom. But Eric never gave up his love for Blues music, and has now returned to his musical roots, revisiting songs from Blues heroes such as the three Kings of the Blues; Albert, B.B. and Freddy, as well as Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Howlin' Wolf, Albert Collins and Elmore James.
An excellent CD of mostly live material. If you have no Eric Bell and like electric blues guitar, this would be a fine place to start. There are 4 studio tracks on the end which are all excellent as well with very raw guitar.
In September 2004 Natasha Bedingfield debuted smashingly in the United Kingdom. Her first record, Unwritten, went to number one almost immediately and the glowing response established her as an instant pop star. Her ascent mirrored the sudden popularity of brother Daniel Bedingfield in 2001, when his bedroom production "Gotta Get Through This" rocketed similarly up the charts. For Natasha, it's "Single" and the near-perfect "These Words (I Love You, I Love You)" – tracks that merge the rhythms and flavors of hip-hop and R&B with unique melodies and Bedingfield's vocal confidence – "Single," for example, suggests Kelly Clarkson's 2003 single "Miss Independent."
Probably one of the best complete introductions to "pick-up" by one of the best story tellers in "pick-up". Word of warning to those just starting, you should get this to such a level of unconscious understanding that it doesn't even seem like you are doing "pick-up" because "pick-up" is really just the art of being charismatic and likable without being a chump. Some find this very hard, others don't, and everyone is different so programs like these can help, but don't let it become a crutch: "I have to say this one line to get a chick or they'll friend-zone me". Anyways, happy hunting!
