Robin Miriam Carlsson, better known by her stage name Robyn [born June 12th 1979 in Stockholm, Sweden] is a Grammy Award-nominated Swedish pop singer-songwriter. She gained mainstream success worldwide owing to the popularity of her No.1 hit single 'With Every Heartbeat' and subsequent album release. In January, 2009 Robyn won a Swedish Grammis award for Best Live Act 2008. She is also popular for electronica in Britain and the U.S.A.
'Cobrastyle' is a single originally performed by Teddybears featuring Mad Cobra in 2004. The track was covered by Robyn on her 2006 EP 'The Rakamonie EP', and is also featured on the international edition of her self-titled album 'Robyn'. Her cover was No.61 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2008. The official music video was released on October 10th 2008. It involves Robyn and the band dressed in white with a white background, playing with paint whilst performing.
