Pink Project is the name of an Italo disco production created, like its contemporary Kano, by italian composer/keyboardist/producer Stefano Pulga, together with his colleagues Luciano Ninzatti (also guitarist/programmer), Matteo Bonsanto (keyboardist) and sound engineer Massimo Noe. Their biggest hit, which also provided them with their name, was a mashup - one of the very first such creations, actually, in Italy - entitled "Disco Project". "Disco Project" was born out of the mixes that Pulga used to create during his club nights. In early 1982, he and Ninzatti had realized that Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall (Part II), which was a big hit in Italy in that period, and The Alan Parsons Project's equally popular "Mammagamma" had the same tempo and, in some sections, the same key. Plus, APP's instrumentals were often mistaken for Pink Floyd by Italian club goers and 'dance' fans in general.

Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel are an English rock band from the early 1970s. Their music covers a range of styles from pop to progressive rock. Over the years they have had five albums in the UK Albums Chart and twelve singles in the UK Singles Chart. Steve Harley (born Stephen Malcolm Ronald Nice, 27 February 1951, Deptford, London), grew up in London's New Cross area and attended Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College. His musical career began in the late 1960s when he was busking (with John Crocker aka Jean-Paul Crocker) and performing his own songs, some of which were later recorded by him and the band. After an initial stint as a music journalist, the original Cockney Rebel was formed when Harley hooked up with his former folk music partner, Crocker (fiddle / mandolin / guitar) in 1972.

In the Heat of the Night is the Platinum certified debut studio album by American recording artist Pat Benatar, released by Chrysalis Records on August 27, 1979. It peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 on the strength of her breakthrough hit "Heartbreaker", plus covers of Nick Gilder's "Rated X", John Mellencamp's "I Need a Lover", The Alan Parsons Project's "Don't Let It Show", Sweet's "No You Don't", and Smokie's "If You Think You Know How to Love Me" and "In the Heat of the Night". The album also included the top 30 hit "We Live for Love".
