Third studio album by the British singer/songwriter. Debuting at #7 in the UK Albums Chart, the album features songs made famous by the American jazz singer Billie Holiday. Songs on the album include 'Get Happy', 'That Ole Devil Called Love', 'Summertime' and 'Stormy Weather'.

Count Basie was among the most important bandleaders of the swing era. With the exception of a brief period in the early '50s, he led a big band from 1935 until his death almost 50 years later, and the band continued to perform after he died. Basie's orchestra was characterized by a light, swinging rhythm section that he led from the piano, lively ensemble work, and generous soloing. Basie was not a composer like Duke Ellington or an important soloist like Benny Goodman. His instrument was his band, which was considered the epitome of swing and became broadly influential on jazz.

Like many of England's finest musicians, Andrew Lawrence-King began his career in choir school, serving as head chorister for the Cathedral and Parish Church of St. Peter Port, Guernsey. He took an organ scholarship to Cambridge University, where he read mathematics, but finished his studies in organ and voice at the London Early Music Centre. A party at a harpmaker's house gave the opportunity for Lawrence-King to own his first early harp, modeled after a Medieval Irish instrument.

Recorded in 1998, before Face to Face released Ignorance Is Bliss and Reactionary, Live nonetheless captures the intensity of this well-loved punk band's core music. Singer Trever Keith leads the crowd through fan favorites like "Disconnected," "I'm Trying," and "AOK," the last of which he introduces as one of his favorites. Keith's gruff, self-affirming lyrics and the highly charged music make this album a must for fans as well as any serious punk collectors. Face to Face is known as a band that cares deeply for its fans, and at one point Keith asks for the lights to be turned on so he can see them.
