The Originals Legendary Recordings

This is a fantastic collection for discovering the Earache/BBC Grindcore movement start. It has some very old school heavies on it. If you are a long time fan this collection represents a good consolidated way to listen to some of the old favorites. What is most surprising about this collection is the quality of sound. These are the cleanest Peel Sessions I've ever heard. So much of the Grindcore of that era suffered from poor quality and/or muddy recording – this collection has none of that. Three CDs of cleanly recorded old school grind - hard to beat. The Bolt Thrower recordings are unbelievable in quality compared to the original recordings. This collection contains 128 tracks of the originals.

Features all of the albums Elvis recorded and RCA released in his lifetime: studio, soundtrack, and live. This seven-CD box set features 95 tracks from legendary drummer Max Roach's small group, consisting of the 1956-1960 recordings for Emarcy and Mercury Records, as these noteworthy sessions also represent the drummer's post Max Roach-Clifford Brown Quintet output. In 1956 the jazz world witnessed the tragic and untimely deaths of the great trumpeter Clifford Brown and pianist Ritchie Powell. Within these seven CDs, we find Roach maintaining his assault on jazz along with trumpeter Kenny Dorham, pianist Ray Bryant, and the drummer's bandmates from the Clifford Brown years, tenor saxophone giant Sonny Rollins and bassist George Morrow.

All six of the iconic Johnny Cash American Recordings LP's are now available in their entirety in one box for the first time. Produced by legendary producer Rick Rubin these 6 180gsm LP's are housed in a beautiful 12x12 cloth covered box.

This DVD features a tribute concert for the legendary Buddy Holly. Recorded in Austin in 1987, it features Brian Setzer, John Fogerty, Carl Perkins, The Crickets and others.
Buddy Holly is perhaps the most anomalous legend of '50s rock & roll he had his share of hits, and he achieved major rock & roll stardom, but his importance transcends any sales figures or even the particulars of any one song (or group of songs) that he wrote or recorded. Holly was unique, his legendary status and his impact on popular music all the more extraordinary for having been achieved in barely 18 months.
