Originally released as a 10-track live album in the late 1970s when live albums were all the rage, At Budokan neatly summed up this oddball power-pop/hard rock band with the added ferocity a live show brings. Tracks such as "Hello There," "Surrender," "I Want You to Want Me," and Fats Domino's "Ain't That a Shame" were infused with a power their studio versions only hint at. Twenty years after the original concert in April 1978, the classic live album has been expanded to include nine additional tracks that make this a must-have for fans of the original.

Almost unknown for years because of the general focus on Louis Vierne as an organ composer, the Piano Quintet in C minor, Op. 42, of this student of Franck and Widor has been unearthed and has received at least a couple of recordings. The work is superb. For those wondering, it does resemble Vierne's organ music. It is highly chromatic, densely contrapuntal, and often built around lines that are introduced with each instrument playing a note of a large chord in sequence for a very organ-like effect. Beyond this is a highly personal quality that marries an intimacy akin to that of Janácek's chamber music to the monumental style Vierne inherited.

Sinner are a German heavy metal band formed by vocalist and bassist Mat Sinner in 1982 (who later joined Primal Fear). They were part of the German heavy/speed/power metal scene. The "Mask Of Sanity" was released in 2007 and spawned two popular singles - "Diary Of Evil" and "Black" and included a faithful rendition of Thin Lizzy's "Baby Please Don't Go".

In 2004, Saifer Entertainment and V.I.K. Recordings released a stunning DVD of the band's 2000 appearance at an outdoor stadium in Winnipeg entitled "The Guess Who - Running Back Through Canada" and it is a winner from beginning to end. The group is remarkably tight both musically and vocally and roar through an amazing set of their popular tunes and lesser-known gems. Fueled with high octane, the band kicks off the set with "Runnin' Back To Saskatoon," a rollicking number that was never recorded in the studio but did appear on their "Live at the Paramount" album back in 1972. It's followed up by their 1970 hit, the crowd-pleasing rocker, "Rain Dance."
