One of the legendary bootlegs in Rolling Stones lore, the 1971 gig at their old stomping ground of London's Marquee Club was recorded and filmed for broadcast on American television. Very little film footage was officially released and it sat unreleased until 2015, when the Stones Archive released the full performance on CD/DVD/Blu-ray to coincide with the deluxe reissue of Sticky Fingers. The truncated set – just eight songs, with alternate takes of "I Got the Blues" and "Bitch" added as bonus tracks – reflects how it was intended for television but even though this is short, it's mighty. The Stones had recently wrapped their farewell tour of the U.K. – for tax purposes, they were leaving the country to reside in France – and Sticky Fingers' release was on the horizon, so they were in fighting form and still sounded hungry when cranking out "Bitch" and "Brown Sugar." Although they've expanded to add a horn section, they have yet to get bogged down with spectacle: they're still a lean, hard rock & roll band. Often, the attraction here is the grime and grit but they're also grooving hard, as evidenced by the swinging "Let It Rock" and how "Satisfaction" gets funky. It all adds up to one of the band's finest live performances and it's a pleasure to finally have it officially released.

Let It Bleed was released in late November 1969, as the '60s were winding down. It was the second album in the Rolling Stones' career-best run that stretched into the early '70s and also included Beggars Banquet (1968), Sticky Fingers (1971) and Exile on Main St. (1972). In a way, the album represented the end of the long, hard decade, as themes of disillusionment and a looming apocalypse prevail.

Recorded in late summer 1979 and released by the end of the year, Bomber quickly followed up Overkill, Motörhead's landmark breakthrough album from earlier in the year. Bomber bears a lot in common with its fan-favorite predecessor. For starters, it features the classic Motörhead lineup: Lemmy (bass and vocals), "Fast" Eddie Clarke (guitar), and "Philthy Animal" Taylor (drums). Also like Overkill, Bomber features the production grace of Jimmy Miller, the man responsible for the Rolling Stones' late-'60s/early-'70s albums, including such masterpieces as Beggars Banquet, Sticky Fingers, and Exile on Main St.

2 CD Set / 5 Previously Unreleased Tracks: Pair all-time great blues-rock guitarist Mick Taylor with roots-rock chanteuse Carla Olson, throw in band members like Ian McLagan (ex-Faces), Barry Goldberg (ex-Electric Flag) and harmonica whiz John Luke Logan, and you had one explosive combo. This deluxe reissue expands their 1990 live at the Roxy album with a number of tracks from Carla's various studio albums, all of 'em featuring Mick and all of 'em long out-of-print. We even unearthed an unreleased cut, an alternate version of 'Winter' that's over twice as long as the Rolling Stones' version on 'Goat s Head Soup' with much Mick guitar solo magic, and the rare, Japan-only track 'You Gotta Move' to up the temperature. And Stones fans wait 'til you hear the 7- minute version of 'Sway' (the original on Sticky Fingers faded out at 3:50 just when Mick was taking off)!

Motörhead's landmark second album, Overkill, marked a major leap forward for the band, and it remains one of their all-time best, without question. In fact, some fans consider it their single best, topping even Ace of Spaces. It's a ferocious album, for sure, perfectly showcasing Motörhead's trademark style of no holds barred proto-thrash – a kind of punk-inflected heavy metal style that is sloppy and raw yet forceful and in your face.
