Roose Bolton returns to the Dreadfort to meet up with his bastard son Ramsay Snow and sees first hand how Theon Greyjoy has been brutalized into a subservient persona, dubbed 'Reek'. His next objective is to find and kill the remaining Stark children — Bran and Rickon, who threaten the legitimacy of his new title as well as reclaiming the territories under Ironborn occupation. Beyond the Wall, the visions of the Three-eyed Raven compel Bran and his companions to travel further northwards, despite growing hunger. At Dragonstone, Melisandre orders several people to be burned as a tribute to the Lord of Light, to the delight of Queen Selyse and the disgust of Davos and Shireen. In King's Landing, Tyrion breaks up with Shae to protect her from his family and tries to ship her off across the Narrow Sea to Pentos. Meanwhile, Jaime begins discretely training his left-handed swordplay with the help of Bronn. Later at the Royal Wedding feast, tensions fly high between Joffrey and Tyrion. The feast is abruptly cut short when Joffrey succumbs to poison and dies. A grief-stricken Cersei accuses Tyrion of murdering the king and orders his arrest.

The title affliction causes sufferers to react to paintings in extreme and bizarre ways. In the case of police detective Anna Manni, she swoons and feels herself entering hallucinatory versions of the artwork she sees. This Italian psychothriller contains dark elements of horror as Manni tries to capture a murderous serial rapist. The lady detective is first seen walking the art-filled hallways of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. The great paintings have a terrible effect upon her and she ends up having one of her surreal visions after fainting in front of Brueghel's "The Flight of Icarus."

CBS replaced the original production team, and set out to do thirty 21-minute episodes for the third season; this way they could have enough episodes to sell the series into syndication. Robin Ward replaced Aidman as the narrator of these Canadian-produced episodes. To lead the writing team, the producers brought in a new group led by executive producer Mark Shelmerdine (I, Claudius) and supported by story editors Paul Chitlik, Jeremy Bertrand Finch, and J. Michael Straczynski. Straczynski authored more episodes that season than anyone else on staff. The producers named Straczynski the sole story editor following the release of Chitlik and Finch. Notably, Harlan Ellison was coaxed back to The Twilight Zone in the third season, and wrote what would be the next-to-last episode of the series, titled "Crazy as a Soup Sandwich."

The colossally popular Zatoichi films make up the longest-running action series in Japanese history and created one of the screen’s great heroes: an itinerant blind masseur who also happens to be a lightning-fast swordsman. As this iconic figure, the charismatic and earthy Shintaro Katsu became an instant superstar, lending a larger-than-life presence to the thrilling adventures of a man who lives staunchly by a code of honor and delivers justice in every town and village he enters. The films that feature him are variously pulse-pounding, hilarious, stirring, and completely off-the-wall. This deluxe set features the string of twenty-five Zatoichi films made between 1962 and 1973, collected in one package for the first time.

Charles Bronson re-teams with director Michael Winner – sandwiched between their first pairing in the underrated Chato's Land and their seminal collaboration in Death Wish – in this Lewis John Carlino-scripted actioner. Bronson plays Arthur Bishop, a "mechanic" or hired killer, famed for his efficient and unfeeling contract executions. The young and eager Steve McKenna (Jan-Michael Vincent) teams up with him, hoping that Bishop will teach him the bounty-hunting business. Imparting words of wisdom to Steve like, "Murder is only killing without a license and everybody kills – the Army, the police," the two undergo a series of adventures as Bishop shows Steve the ropes.

BBC's fly on the wall documentary about Manchester’s irresponsible youth was both compelling viewing and shocking. As they say, you can’t script stuff like this, and it’s certainly not a show you’d want to watch with your dinner. It’s estimated that there are over 22,000 people living in the UK with HIV, and many, many more with various forms of STIs.

Before carving out a niche as one of the most distinct voices in nineties American cinema, Allison Anders made her debut, alongside codirectors and fellow UCLA film school students Kurt Voss and Dean Lent, with 1987’s Border Radio. A low-key, semi-improvised postpunk diary that took four years to complete, Border Radio features legendary rocker Chris D., of the Flesh Eaters, as a singer/songwriter who has stolen loot from a club and gone missing, leaving his wife (Luanna Anders), a no-nonsense rock journalist, to track him down with the help of his friends (John Doe of the band X; Chris Shearer). With its sprawling Southern Californian and Mexican landscapes, captured in evocative 16mm black and white, Border Radio is a singular, DIY memento of the indie film explosion in America.
