The Cold Queen

The A Night at the Opera Tour (advertised as A Night at the Opera with Queen) was a concert tour by Queen to promote A Night at the Opera. It spanned 1975 and 1976, and covered the UK, the US, Japan, and Australia. It marked the debut of "Bohemian Rhapsody", which would be played at every Queen gig thereafter.
Also in September 1976, already during the session of the album A Day At The Races, the band played several concerts in the UK. This little tour was called Summer '76.

The Sheer Heart Attack Tour was the first world tour by the British rock band Queen, and supported their 1974 album Sheer Heart Attack. The year 1974 had started with their first trip outside of Europe and an appearance at the Sunbury Music Festival in Australia. Although the band headlined the event on 2 February, their appearance the next day was canceled. In March, the band commenced on a UK tour to promote their new album Queen II, and then embark on their first trip to the USA.

Stone Cold Queen: A Tribute features a number of hard rock performers covering some of Queen's best-known songs. Queen played three sold-out shows at the legendary Rainbow Theatre, Finsbury Park, North London, in 1974. The first was in March, the crowning glory of the Queen II tour; the band then returned for two more nights in November as part of the Sheer Heart Attack tour. 1974 was a year of high achievement for Freddie, Brian, Roger and John; as well as releasing two albums, from which came their first two hit singles, “Seven Seas Of Rhye” and “Killer Queen,” the latter charting all around the world, they completed major tours across the UK, America and Europe. Queen dazzled their audience with an unforgettable show delivered with a skill and confidence which belied their youth. The tape machines were rolling, capturing the highly energetic performances. To mark the 4oth anniversary of these legendary shows, here, finally, is Queen at the Rainbow; lovingly restored, mixed and digitally mastered, and including material never previously available.

This unofficial 'Opera Omnia' was released as a four CD boxed set in Italy in 1992, in a blue and gold box, with a colour booklet. It contains live versions of almost every Queen song ever performed live, from a number of different concerts, in chronological order.
