Frigga lives with her parents on their farm. Unable to speak after being horrifically raped by an elderly man when she was young, her parents spend the majority of their money on speech therapy classes for their daughter in the hope that one day, she will speak again. One day, Frigga misses the bus to get to her speech therapy class. She accepts a ride off a suave looking gentlemen named Tony who pulls up beside her. Once they are in town, he takes her for a meal. Afterwards, he takes Frigga back to what appears to be his bachelor pad. He gives her wine that has probably been drugged, as she passes out after drinking it. The man then takes no time in bringing a crooked doctor in to get her fixed on high class heroin. After announcing to Frigga that she is now dependent on heroin and cannot last more than 48 hours without it, she must work as a prostitute for him. Frigga, obviously not thrilled by this news…

Although not properly a horror series it included several supernatural elements. Armchair Thriller was produced by Thames Television, but it included serials made by Southern Television.

Charade is a 1963 film directed by Stanley Donen, written by Peter Stone and Marc Behm, and starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. It also features Walter Matthau, James Coburn, George Kennedy, Dominique Minot, Ned Glass, and Jacques Marin. It spans three genres: suspense thriller, romance, and comedy. The film is notable for its screenplay, especially the repartee between Grant and Hepburn, for having been filmed on location in Paris, for Henry Mancini's score and theme song, and for the animated titles by Maurice Binder. Charade has been referred to as "the best Hitchcock movie that Hitchcock never made."

De retour des sports d'hiver, Reggie Lambert, en instance de divorce, retrouve son appartement parisien sans dessus-dessous et apprend la mort de son mari. Elle découvre que son époux avait détourné pendant la guerre un magot destiné à la résistance française. Ses anciens complices mais aussi Peter Joshua, un séduisant célibataire rencontré aux sports d'hiver, près duquel elle cherchait un appui, semblent impliqués dans cette affaire. Attention : en raison de son âge, cette oeuvre peut parfois présenter une image imparfaite. Aucun défaut visuel n'est dû à la technologie VOD glowria mais à l'image originale.

Armchair Thriller - Complete Season 2 (1980) Movies

Trailers for the series were equally memorable by showing an armchair soaked in blood and a screaming, maniacal face, which received criticism in that they were considered too horrific for pre-watershed viewing. Also significant was the Thames Television ident, which normally showed a London landscape in daytime, but for this series was changed to a night-time setting.
