"Woodstock" is the eighth full-length album by Alaskan rock band Portugal. The Man. After having released "Evil Friends" in 2013, Portugal. The Man began work on a new project, under the working title "Gloomin + Doomin". This album was eventually shelved, partly due to a conversation between John Gourley and his father and the discovery of a lost ticket stub from the Woodstock festival. Work began on the "Woodstock" album shortly thereafter, involving new music as well as material from the "Gloomin + Doomin" era.

The Depths Of Winter is the third release from multi-instrumentalist Peter Jones. "The Depths of Winter is an album based on wintery concepts, and stories which take place in the winter season," explains main man Jones. "There are a number of different themes explored on this album, including winter folk tales and characters such as the Ojibwe wind spirit, Biboon, the Viking legends of Baldr, Loki and Frigga, and the death of English folklore hero, Robin Hood." This new outing sees Tiger Moth Tales taking on a somewhat more mature sound, tackling some darker but less personal themes that are predominantly based on wintery concepts, and stories that take place in the winter season.

He was a pioneer of distorted and over amplified guitar which can be heard on one of his most famous and influential recordings, "Boogie In The Park". Tiger and the Duke is the debut album by the experimental rock band The Sound of Animals Fighting. Four songs from this album were released in demo form on a 2004 EP of the same title. It is a concept album revolving around the title character, Duke, and the Captain who runs the ship they are sailing. The cargo of the ship are crazy animals who howl and fight below the deck. Eventually the Captain's sons start a mutiny in which the Captain jumps off the ship. The album was reissued via Equal Vision Records on June 26, 2007. The reissue features all tracks remixed, with new interludes, and new artwork by Drew Roulette of dredg and Dark Heavens and packaging along with eight remixes from Lover, The Lord Has Left Us… The album peaked at 35 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.
