Rolling Stones Fans attention: in 2019, "Demos & Outtakes 1963-1966" is a real treat, especially for Fans of the early years. The album title is program, it is a collection of rare Stones recordings, demos and outtakes from the years 1963 to 1966. Included are some well-known songs, but with different arrangements. A total of 40 tracks are waiting on two full CDs.

Whitesnake‘s 1984 album Slide It In will be reissued as a 35th anniversary ‘ultimate special edition’. The album includes the hits ‘Love Ain’t No Stranger’ and ‘Slow An’ Easy’, both of which went top 40 in the USA at the time. The ‘ultimate special edition’ includes six CDs and a DVD and features remastered versions of both the UK and US mixes of the albums as well as new 35th anniversary stereo mixes, unreleased live and studio recordings, music videos, concert footage, and a new interview with Whitesnake founder and lead singer, David Coverdale.

This Edition presents the “Magnificent Seven” and the “encore” in optimum technical quality. In the mid-Fifties of the last century, with the Cold War freezing relations between East and West, the English record label Decca decided to record a series of Russian operas with the Belgrade National Opera. Belgrade in the Yugoslavia of those days under Josip Tito was more open to “the West” than the Warsaw Pact countries gathered under the wing of the Soviet Union. The deal had been struck by former Decca manager and successful promoter of east European folklore in the USA, record executive Gerald Severn.

The album was born in 1973 following the release of guitarist Randy California’s “Kaptain Kopter and the Fabulous Twirlybirds” album (made shortly after his departure from Spirit). To promote his solo album California assembled a band to tour featuring original Spirit drummer Ed Cassidy and bass guitarist Larry “Fuzzy” Knight. Initially playing concerts in the Los Angeles area, the trio recorded two live performances at the studios of KPFK-FM in September 1972. Soon after the trio reverted to the name Spirit to undertake live work in Europe. Following these concerts Randy California and Ed Cassidy began work on the album “The Adventures of Kapt. Kopter and Commander Cody in Potatoland”…
