This studio recording, the first ever of the acclaimed American stage score based on the Academy Award-nominated film, features a 25-piece orchestra, a choir of 32 and some of Broadway's most formidable talent: Michael Arden (Big River) as Quasimodo, Patrick Page (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark) as Dom Claude Frollo, Ciara Renée (Pippin) as Esmeralda, Andrew Samonsky (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) as Captain Phoebus de Martin and Erik Liberman (Lovemusik) as Clopin Trouillefou.

What is an album review anyway? I just finished watching a famous video reviewer discussing the artist’s process in excruciating detail. I don’t think I could ever do that. Would anyone even care to spend 15 minutes reading the fastidious breakdown of a 36-minute album? Either way, the chance that this was going to be an average review was small from the start. I picked Dreaming The Dark to review because I was seeing Tamaryn live on the day the album was being released, and I had hoped for a little serendipity to help me out.

"Light In The Dark" will be available on CD deluxe edition (includes live bonus tracks on the CD footage from the band's first-ever live performance captured at Frontiers Rock Festival in Milan this past April. For "Light In The Dark", Revolution Saints once again teamed up with producer/songwriter Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Jorn), who was also behind the boards for the band's debut album. Most of "Light In The Dark" was recorded at Del Vecchio's studios in Somma Lombardo, Italy, with additional recording taking place at Blades's studio in Washington, Aldrich's CasaDala studio in Los Angeles, and other countries all over the world while Aldrich was on tour with THE Dead Daisies.
