Pyramid is a progressive rock album by The Alan Parsons Project. It was released in 1978. At the time this album was conceived, interest in pyramids and so-called pyramid power was very popular. A pyramid could be found on the back of a dollar bill, there were stories in the newspapers about the supposed magical properties of pyramids and of course, the cover of The Dark Side of the Moon (in which Parsons was the sound engineer).

Vulture Culture's theme is another in which the fallacy of humankind is front and center. This time Parsons' message concerns the fact that everyone lives in a parasitic society, where it's every man for himself. Those who can't fend for themselves simply won't survive in a world where the kindness of the human spirit is rapidly deteriorating…

In 1970, one of the leaders of the musical Mardi Gras Indian Tribes movement, The Wild Magnolias, became the first band to have a commercial recording released as a Mardi Gras Indian group. The band’s legendary performances at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival also helped them launch into the recording of their 1974 debut LP—the self-titled The Wild Magnolias which we are so pleased to present to you here. Easily some of the most fantastic New Orleans funk and soul ever laid down on vinyl. Eight songs that don’t let up with its street-beat funk, call-and-response vocals (with lyrics like “just a few puffs to make you feel all right” leading the charge) and a recording that captures the unhinged mania of so many talented musicians crammed into a studio making a stone-cold classic.

Biophilia is easily her most ambitious project as a whole, but its music is more about completion than competition, even against herself.

Vulture Culture is an album by The Alan Parsons Project.
The first side of the LP consists entirely of four-minute pop songs, and the second side varies widely, from the subdued funk of the title track to the bouncing, desert-like "Hawkeye".
At the beginning of 1985, the lead single "Let's Talk About Me" reached the Top 40 in Germany (where the album was #1), in Switzerland (where Vulture Culture was #2) and in the Netherlands.

Tales of Mystery and Imagination is the debut album by the progressive rock group The Alan Parsons Project, released in 1976. The album's avant-garde soundscapes kept it from being a blockbuster, but the interesting lyrical and musical themes — retellings of horror stories and poetry by Edgar Allan Poe — attracted a cult audience. The title of the album is taken from a popular title for a collection of Poe's macabre tales of the same name, Tales of Mystery & Imagination, first published in 1908 and reprinted many times since.
Musicians featured on the album include vocalist Arthur Brown of The Crazy World of Arthur Brown (who sings The Tell Tale Heart) and Francis Monkman, who had played with Curved Air and later founded Sky. (Wiki)
