We have recorded every note and every pick up of our original vintage '66 Höfner Violin Bass to tape then cut to vinyl and sampled from there!

We set out to create a new standard in virtual solo strings, offering plenty of inspiration without sacrificing flexibility… and with the unmistakable, iconic sound of internationally acclaimed violinist Joshua Bell.

CineStrings SOLO is a deeply sampled solo strings virtual instrument recorded at the world famous MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles. The patches contain some of the most realistic True Legato ever created for soloistic string writing.

We sampled a string trio of talented Italian musicians, Barbara (violin), Giada (viola) and Klaus (cello), at the amazing Teatro delle Voci in Treviso. The Violin features up to 3.5 octaves, 4 dynamic layers for sustained articulations, 2 legato types, 4 Round Robins for short articulations like Spiccato, Staccato and Pizzicato. We provide you the ability to create your unique sound by mixing the 3 microphones positions (Close, Mid and Far). The sampling was madetop quality gear: Schoeps and AudioTechnica microphones, Neve and Millennia Media preamps.

This massive collection contains 18 individual sound design libraries from Halflight Sampling. With an underlying tone of dread and otherworldly noises this collection is packed with useful sounds for creative projects, horror and sci-fi scoring or for adding an undertone to your music.

Vintage Strings is a virtual instrument for Kontakt 5 designed to emulate the classic violin string section sounds of R&B, Soul, and Funk records from the 1960's and 1970's. Whether you're an experienced arranger or casual producer, Vintage Strings was designed to make it quick and easy for you to create great sounding string tracks for your productions. Like its sister product, Vintage Horns, Vintage Strings was not designed to be a shiny, perfect sounding virtual instrument. Instead, we tried to capture the way string sections sounded back in the '60s and '70s; including the decidedly not classical playing style and minor imperfections that added character to those sections and made them sound so good.

"London Solo Strings" picks up where most other string libraries leave off. This is the most playable string library out of the box; just load it up and start playing. Hear violin,viola,cello and the oft-omitted contrabass like you've never heard them before. Each instrument was sampled in 24-bit, played by world class performers with top of the line instruments.

We set out to create a virtual violin with malleable, intuitive controls, and an authentic, LIVING sound. From the beginning we wanted control over vibrato and dynamics, so we presented Dovid with an insane, almost athletic challenge: to record more than 4000 samples with musical purpose and a beautiful tone, and all WITHOUT VIBRATO!
