VISIONS OF ATLANTIS continue their everlasting symphonic journey, drawing the listener into the maritime depths with their first ever LIVE A Symphonic Journey To Remember, which was recorded live at the 2019 BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Festival with the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague, to be released via Napalm Records on October 30th 2020.

With their latest chart-topping studio album, Wanderers (2019), and the recent release of their first ever live BluRay/DVD, A Symphonic Journey To Remember, symphonic metal visionaries VISIONS OF ATLANTIS have, without a doubt, proven that they are on top of the scene. Now, the band sets sail on another adventurous journey and new exciting chapter, marking a turning point of their discography with the upcoming album, Pirates, out May 13, 2022 via Napalm Records. With their eighth full-length, VISIONS OF ATLANTIS deliver their most confident and honest record so far, proving that they have definitely stopped wandering to finally unleash their rebellious side and a free spirit untamed as the seven seas. Austrian coed-metal act Visions of Atlantis has been through a lot. With six studio albums since 2002, several lineup changes (including the sad death of vocalist Nicole Bogner to illness in 2012), to the point of the drummer being the sole original member… the band has been rigorously tested in a crucible in under two decades. Thankfully, with the arrival of new album Wanderers on 31 August, the lineup remains mostly intact since the previous album…

VISIONS OF ATLANTIS really went all in regarding its promotional photo shoot for the new album. They chose a deserted beach along the coast of the vast Atlantic Ocean, including stranded pirate ships and a harsh coastline created by the elements. It is quite obvious why the Peninsula of Quiberon was the perfect destination for this photo shoot: the natural light and rough seas supplied a beautiful backdrop and the pictures capture the vision of "Wanderers" perfectly.
