Their 14th album, 'ΠΡΟ ΧΡΙΣΤΟU' (Pro Xristou) commemorates 35 years of evil excellence, giving it to a revered place in the band's heretical history. Always true to their name, with with 'Pro Xristou' ("Before Christ"), Sakis and his brother Temis pay tribute to the last of the Pagan kings by offering up more towering, gothic, melodic black metal.

The eventual schism that resulted in the formation of Luca Turilli's Rhapsody and the termination of his former solo projects and association with his mainstay brand Rhapsody Of Fire could be seen as inevitable, insofar that with the conclusion of the second stream of episodes of the original Emerald Sword saga that some changing of the guard was in the works, especially considering the monumental feat of putting out 14 albums in less than 20 years…

Enslaved is a progressive black metal band formed in Haugesund, Norway, in June, 1991. They are currently based out of Bergen, Norway.Enslaved was formed in July 1991 by Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson (also known as Kjetil Grutle) when they were 13 and 17 years old, respectively. The band name was inspired by an Immortal demo track, "Enslaved in Rot." After many line-up changes throughout their career, Bjørnson and Kjellson are the only remaining original members.
