Der niederländische Walzerkönig André Rieu ist wieder da. Nachdem er 2012 pausieren musste, veröffentlicht der derzeit erfolgreichste Tourneekünstler der Welt endlich sein lang erwartetes Doppelalbum André Rieu Celebrates ABBA & Music Of The Night. Während der Arbeit an Music Of The Night, einer wunderbaren Sammlung bisher nicht aufgenommener klassischer Songs aus der Welt der Musicals, Filme und Romanzen, entdeckte André Rieu das beeindruckende Repertoire der schwedischen Supergruppe ABBA und widmet sich nun zum ersten Mal dieser Musik. ABBA Fans weltweit können ihre Lieblingssongs jetzt endlich in noch nie gehörten, wunderschönen Orchesterarrangements erleben.

Commercially, Super Trouper, ABBA's seventh album, was another worldwide blockbuster. "The Winner Takes It All," its lead-off single, released several months in advance of the album in most territories, was a smash; for example, it was the group's 14th consecutive Top Five hit in the U.K. and their eighth number one there. The title track was also a British chart-topper (their last), as was the album, their sixth. "Lay All Your Love on Me" made the U.K. Top Ten, and "On and on and On" was released as a single in some countries, hitting the Top Ten in Australia. (Typically, American success was more modest, though the album went gold, and "The Winner Takes It All" was a number one adult contemporary and Top Ten pop hit.) Musically, Super Trouper found ABBA, always trend-conscious, taking account of the passing of disco and returning to the pop/rock sound typical of their early albums…

19th April 2019 saw the release of Showaddywaddy Gold on heavyweight 180g gold colour vinyl and on a three CD set! This date also marks the 45th anniversary of the release of the band’s debut hit single ‘Hey Rock And Roll’! The 3-CD 61-track featuring all the songs on the vinyl, and some of the band’s best album tracks! The album has an introductory note from the Band's co-founder Dave Bartram. From their winning appearance on an edition of 'New Faces', the 'Britain's Got Talent' of the day, to become runners-up in the series' 'All Winners Final', it took just a matter of months until Showaddywaddy, 'Hey Rock And Roll'. The single reached #2 in the UK Singles Chart and Showaddywaddy eventually had more UK hits in the 1970s than any other act…including Abba!
