The National's eighth record came from prosaic beginnings. Director Mike Mills – not to be confused with the bassist from R.E.M., as he so often is – invited Matt Berninger to collaborate, a notion that quickly spawned two projects: a short film from Mills and a new album from the National, both entitled I Am Easy to Find. Mills is credited as a co-producer on the album, a bit of a stretch considering how he is by no means a musician, but his contributions did indeed help the album take shape.

I Am… World Tour is the fourth live and the fifth video album by American singer Beyoncé. It was released on November 26, 2010 through Parkwood Entertainment, Music World Entertainment and Columbia Records. Beyoncé produced, directed and edited the concert film for her own production company Parkwood Pictures. It was filmed in the presence of more than a million fans during her worldwide I Am… World Tour, running from March 2009 through February 2010, in support of her third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce (2008). The DVD on the album is a combination of performances from the tour, including guest appearances from Jay-Z and Kanye West, as well as backstage moments. Beyoncé explained that the idea of filming her worldwide performances came when she realized that she was feeling lonely. She edited the film for nine months and it serves as her directorial debut.

When ad hoc studio group Plastic Penny scored a surprise Top Ten hit in early 1968 with an orch-pop cover of Box Tops B-side 'Everything I Am', a band of that name was quickly put together by session singer Brian Keith. Although Keith quickly dropped out to pursue a solo career, Plastic Penny stayed together for around eighteen months, with future Chicken Shack/Savoy Brown/UFO stalwart Paul Raymond sharing lead vocal duties with subsequent Elton John Band drummer Nigel Olsson. Completed by future Procol Harum guitarist Mick Grabham and Troggs-bound bassist Tony Murray, Plastic Penny recorded two fine albums - including such bona fide UK psych-pop masterpieces as 'Mrs Grundy' and 'Your Way To Tell Me Go' - before the final line-up morphed into country-rockers Cochise in the second half of 1969. Everything I Am: The Complete Plastic Penny does exactly what it says on the tin, assembling everything the band recorded during their brief lifespan under one roof: mono and stereo versions of debut album "Two Sides Of A Penny", the stereo-only follow-up "Currency", non-album singles, alternative versions and mixes, foreign language recordings, the studio outtake 'Celebrity Ball' and, most intriguingly of all, forty-five minutes of BBC recordings in pristine sound quality.
