A special and rare work of Mikis Theodorakis, full of lyricism and beauty. In 1981, the composer was mature with the wisdom of his 56 years. From the 10 ballads of this album, 5 are on the poetry of his brother Yiannis Theodorakis, 4 on the delicate poems of the sensitive and sweet poet Aggeliki Eleftheriou and one has lyrics of the composer himself. All songs are interpreted by the superb voice of Dimitra Galani and chorus. The music has a lyric, almost classical touch, inducing an euphoric feeling together with a bitter-sweet melancholy. Enjoy.

An historical album of Loukianos Kilaidonis, the first one where the composer decided to try his chances as a singer. The reaction of his fans was so positive, that Kilaidonis was the main singer to all his following albums. The work was revolutionary since it cauterized the habits and ethics of the "petits bourgeois", a social class very common at the great cities. The music is very pleasant and humoristic and the album became platinum and remained as one of the most original and daring musical works ever.
