If boiled down to a simple synopsis, the Beatles' LOVE sounds radical: assisted by his father, the legendary Beatles producer George, Giles Martin has assembled a remix album where familiar Fab Four tunes aren't just refurbished, they're given the mash-up treatment, meaning different versions of different songs are pasted together to create a new track. Ever since the turn of the century, mash-ups were in vogue in the underground, as such cut-n-paste jobs as Freelance Hellraiser's "Stroke of Genius" – which paired up the Strokes' "Last Night" with Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle" – circulated on the net, but no major group issued their own mash-up mastermix until LOVE in November 2006.

This superb compilation, often called "the red album," brings together the majority of the Beatles' hits from the early to mid '60s. Consequently, it plays like an overview of the some of the most popular and indelible rock songs of all time. From the "yeah, yeah, yeah"'s of "She Loves You" through the amped-up giddiness of "I Want to Hold Your Hand," the minor-key melodicism of "And I Love Her," and on to the chiming power pop of "Eight Days a Week" and the tweaky feedback of "I Feel Fine," these are the songs that turned the entire Western world on its ear…

The companion piece to the 1962-1966 singles compilation, this set (often called "the blue album," as opposed to its chronological predecessor "the red album"), brings together the Beatles best known songs from 1967 through 1970. The Beatles were fiercely, relentlessly experimental during these years, and the swirling, visionary soundscapes of "Strawberry Fields Forever," which opens the collection, sets the tone with its effects-heavy production and backward tape loops…

The Beatles’ revolver has become a new era album that uniquely identifies what it was. The music nature of the Beatles that extended the Oldies of the 50’s left the residue up to around “BEATLES FOR SALE”, the treatment of the world is idle, and actually “HELP” has “four people The idol “is given to the title. But the high artistic glimpse of that “HELP” was deepened with “RUBBER SOUL”, indicating that the Beatles were becoming an existence that does not fit within the idol category of one. Until then, I had been doing a tour in parallel with recording, but after stopping the tour in 1966, I will combine the styling of studio work and make ‘Sargent Peppers’. This album gets a high reputation both inside and outside, but it seems that “revolver” was the reason for its production. Indeed there are also reasons for time, but there are many songs that are difficult to reproduce on the stage with the technology at the time, without having played one song from the “revolver” at the stage. The “Paperback · Writer” which was the same period recording that was only released as a single was only played on the 1966 tour, “Rain” on the reverse side uses reverse rotation of the tape It was impossible. The Beatles must have perceived the real pleasure and entertainment of studio production with ‘revolver’. It should have thought that if it takes more time it will be able to create a more dense album. That was connected to Sargent Pepper’s discontinuance of the tour activity afterwards.

For 50 years, The White Album has invited its listeners to venture forth and explore the breadth and ambition of its music, delighting and inspiring each new generation in turn. The Beatles have now released a suite of lavishly presented White Album packages, including an expanded 3CD package. The album's 30 tracks are newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and mix engineer Sam Okell and features the new stereo album mix on 2CDs, adding a third CD of the Esher Demos. This is the first time The BEATLES (‘White Album’) has been remixed and presented with an additional disc demo recordings. To create the new stereo audio mixes for ‘The White Album,’ Giles Martin and Sam Okell worked with an expert team of engineers and audio restoration specialists at Abbey Road Studios in London. This 3CD ‘White Album’ release includes Martin’s new stereo album mix, sourced directly from the original four-track and eight-track session tapes.

The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. With a line-up comprising John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they are often regarded as the most influential band of all time. The group were integral to the evolution of pop music into an art form and to the development of the counterculture of the 1960s. Their sound, rooted in skiffle, beat and 1950s rock and roll, incorporated elements of classical music and traditional pop in innovative ways. They also pioneered recording techniques and explored music styles ranging from ballads and Indian music to psychedelia and hard rock. As they continued to draw influences from a variety of cultural sources, their musical and lyrical sophistication grew, and they came to be seen as embodying the era's socio-cultural movements…

"A Bit of Liverpool" is the 3rd studio album by The Supremes, released in the fall of 1964 on the Motown label. It was produced by Berry Gordy with Hal Davis and Marc Gordon doing the mixing. The Supremes performed The Beatles' "Eight Days a Week" on several television shows including Shindig and Hullabaloo, though the song did not make the album. The album just missed the Top 20 in the U.S., peaking at #21. While not quite as prolific as their pop counterparts at that time, The Beatles, The Supremes enjoyed three albums charting simultaneously in 1964–1965. For its release in the UK, the album was titled "With Love (From Us to You)".
