STUNNING BLOW BY BLOW PERFORMANCE FROM DETROIT 1975 • Following the demise of Beck, Bogart and Appice in April 1974, Beck entered Underhill Studio and met with the group Upp, whom he recruited as backing band for his appearance on the BBC TV programme Guitar Workshop in August ‘74. Beck produced and played on their self-titled debut album and their second album This Way Upp. In October Beck began to record instrumentals at AIR Studios with Max Middleton, bassist Phil Chen and drummer Richard Bailey, using George Martin as producer and arranger. • Jeff Beck's next solo album Blow by Blow evolved from these sessions and showcased Beck's technical prowess in jazz-rock. The album reached number four in the charts and remains Beck's most commercially successful release. Fastidious about overdubs and often dissatisfied with his solos, he returned regularly to AIR Studios until he was satisfied.

Never Final, Never Gone is Beck's third Innova CD and consists of works that are predominantly "early" for Beck, dating from 1988 to 1996, though all of the recordings, save that of title work and the percussion piece Kopeyia, were made in the twenty first century. Jack-Ass is the 1997 single by American artist Beck Hansen, who is known under the mononym Beck. Released by Bong Load Records in conjunction with Geffen, this was the fifth and final single from Beck's super-successful album Odelay. The CD single features two remixes of the hit song along with a Spanish version of it called "Burro", done in a Mexican mariachi fashion. The CD also contains three songs not found on the Odelay album.

Nicotine & Gravy is the 2000 single by American singer Beck Hansen, known under the mononym Beck. Released in support of his Midnite Vultures album, this is a CD5 from Holland released on 22 August, 2000. It features two non-LP tracks, including "Midnite Vultures" that is not on the Midnite Vultures album. The enhanced CD also featured the music video for "Nicotine & Gravy", the file of which is included in both the lossless and MP3 versions.

In April 1988, Beck entered the studio in Los Angeles to record an album with producer Nigel Godrich. The album, Mutations, was originally intended to be released as a "parenthetical" album on indie label Bong Load Custom Recordings. Beck later decided to release it on DGC Records.
