Weathers is an American rock band from Los Angeles. Lead vocalist Cameron Boyer and guitarist Cameron Olsen first met in 2012 at a local Battle of the Bands in Manhattan Beach. They eventually recruited bassist Brennen Bates and drummer Cole Carson. Both Boyer's and Carson's fathers played in a band in an Illinois town, and Boyer's father suggested that he should meet Carson after seeing Carson on YouTube. The band was eventually formed in Los Angeles in October 2015.

The Getaway is the upcoming eleventh studio album by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, slated to be released through Warner Bros. on June 17, 2016. This will be the band's first studio album since 2011's I'm with You. It was produced by Danger Mouse, who replaced Rick Rubin after twenty-five years and six albums as the band's producer, making it the first non-Rubin produced album since 1989's Mother's Milk. The album was preceded by the first single "Dark Necessities" on May 5, 2016. "Dark Necessities" became the band's 25th top-ten single on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, a record they hold over U2 who currently have 23 top-ten singles. "Go Robot" is expected to be the second single released from the album. On May 26, 2016, the band released the title track on their YouTube channel and on June 9, 2016 released "We Turn Red". While not singles, the two songs were made available to purchase the following day after their release along with as a free downloads for those who pre-order the new album.

The 2nd Law is the sixth studio album by English rock band Muse. It was released on 1 October 2012 in the United Kingdom and elsewhere on 28 September, 2 and 3 October under Warner Bros. Records and the band's own Helium-3 imprint. The title of the album refers to the second law of thermodynamics and the album's cover art features a map of the human brain's pathways, which was taken from the Human Connectome Project. Recording of the album took place in four different studios, began in October 2011, and ended in August 2012. Mainly self-produced by the band, with the exception of the song "Follow Me" which was co-produced by English electronic music trio Nero, The 2nd Law features multiple styles of music and was influenced by acts such as Queen, David Bowie, and Skrillex.

Getting Away with Murder is the fourth album by the rock band Papa Roach. The album was a departure from the band's previous works, showcasing an alternative rock and hard rock sound instead of a nu metal and rap metal sound. Unlike their previous albums, the album features no rapping and instead features Jacoby Shaddix singing melodies. It was released on August 31, 2004 via Geffen Records and has been certified Gold in Canada and Platinum in America, selling at least 2.8 million units. Getting Away with Murder peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200.
