No ordinary artist. No ordinary covers album. From the day he conceived the project to the moment he counted off the first song in the studio, Walter Trout had a bolder plan for Survivor Blues. "I'm riding in my car sometimes," says the US blues titan. "I've got a blues station on – and here’s another band doing Got My Mojo Workin'. And there's a little voice in me that says, 'Does the world need another version of that song?' So I came up with an idea. I didn’t want to do Stormy Monday or Messin' With The Kid. I didn't want to do the blues greatest hits. I wanted to do old, obscure songs that have hardly been covered. And that’s how Survivor Blues started…"

Sitting on Top of the Blues is the 26th studio album and 75th career release by Grammy winning and Blues Hall of Famer Bobby Rush. This album will be the follow-up to his first Grammy Award winning album Porcupine Meat and is another set of songs written by Bobby Rush that tell stories that are funny, serious, and all around entertaining. The album incorporates down home Chicago style blues, Southern soul, and one acoustic blues track. This album again illustrates Bobby Rush as a one-of-a-kind storyteller who's veins run deep with the blues.

Concertist and singer Matěj Ptaszek with his teammates Jan Stehlík and Jan Čihák made a new album Screaming The Blues. The album was made in the studio, but it was shot live. The musicians have dedicated it to this year's half-century anniversary since the legendary Woodstock Festival, held in a meadow near the American town of Bethel. The album is in the spirit of the blues bands that played at the festival - Canned Heat or The Paul Butterfield Blues Band - and other bluesmen who have reached the rockers of that time. Woodstock has influenced for several generations forever and still acts as proof that love, freedom and music are inseparable.

The first release, a remake of the much-covered staple ‘I Just Want To Make Love To You’ (written by Willie Dixon and first recorded by Muddy Waters) features a guest appearance by Kim Wilson. This was followed by the band’s instrumental reading of the classic ‘Georgia On My Mind.’
