"The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" is Dylan's second studio album and was originally released on May 27, 1963. It is comprised almost entirely of original songs, many of which came to be regarded as some of Dylan's best and classics of the folk music era of the 1960s. The opening track, "Blowin' in the Wind", became a huge hit for the folk trio of Peter, Paul & Mary when they released a cover of the song. Another Side of Bob Dylan is the fourth studio album by American singer and songwriter Bob Dylan. The album deviates from the more socially conscious style which Dylan had developed with his previous LP, The Times They Are A-Changin'. The change prompted criticism from some influential figures in the folk community – Sing Out! editor Irwin Silber complained that Dylan had "somehow lost touch with people" and was caught up in "the paraphernalia of fame". "Shadows In The Night" is Bob Dylan's marks the first new music from the artist since 2012's worldwide hit "Tempest". Featuring ten tracks, the Jack Frost-produced album is Dylan's 36th studio set.

The preferred mix at the time of the recording, the mono version presents Dylan as he and his producers originally intended. Since the separation of the stereo versions isn't as sharp, this mono edition places Dylan's vocals in the heart of the musical action and as one with the accompaniment. It paints listeners an incredibly accurate portrait of the attention-getting, concrete mass of sound that features no artificial panning and straight-ahead immersion into the music. The 18 discs Collector's Edition of "The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12" is limited to a worldwide pressing of only 5,000 copies, and includes every note recorded during the 1965-1966 sessions, every alternate take and alternate lyrics. The 18CD edition includes Dylan's original nine mono 45 RPM singles released during the time period, and rare hotel room recordings from the Savoy Hotel in London (May 4, 1965), the North British Station Hotel in Glasgow (May 13, 1966) and a Denver, Colorado hotel (March 12, 1966) as well as a strip of original film cels from "Don't Look Back".
