For the Piazzolla album "Variations on Buenos Aires", which will be released by Berlin Classics on 28 January 2022, the Dutch violinist Isabelle van Keulen has brought together two different ensembles - her own ensemble specialising in tango nuevo and the Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss, which she artistically directs. A special chance that allows the music of Astor Piazzolla to be heard in a new way due to its unusual combination of tango ensemble and string orchestra.

This album is born from the love that Buenos Aires awakens in its inhabitants, with each piece representing a corner of the city and portraying a musical image of moments lived there.

Inner Spirit: The 1979 Concert at the Teatro General San Martín Concert, Buenos Aires is the first official release of pianist Bill Evans with Marc Johnson and Joe LaBarbera captured live at the Teatro General San Martín in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 27, 1979.Remastered from the original tape reels and in cooperation with the Bill Evans Estate, this deluxe 2 CD set includes an extensive booklet with rare photos from the actual concert; essays by American author, journalist Marc Myers and Argentine author Claudio Parisi (who wrote the book Grandes del jazz internacional en Argentina (1956-1979)); plus new interviews with Marc Johnson, Joe LaBarbera and pianist Enrico Pieranunzi. Mastered by Bernie Grundman and pressed at Record Technology Inc. (RTI). This concert recording is available officially for the very first time and is the companion piece to the Resonance Release, Morning Glory: The 1973 Concert at the Teatro Gran Rex, Buenos Aires with Eddie Gomez and Marty Morell.

En los años veinte la prostitución era un negocio muy grande en Buenos Aires y participaban muchos encumbrados del ambiente social y político argentino. Por eso, las "casas de tolerancia" reunían un público muy curioso y heterogéneo, todos fantásticos personajes que hicieron cosquillas a mi lápiz.
