La NCCP – NUOVA COMPAGNIA DI CANTO POPOLARE è pronta a festeggiare i 50 anni di carriera artistica con “50 anni in Buona Compagnia” (FoxBand). Il 14 ottobre uscirà infatti il nuovo doppio album, in cui presente e futuro della NCCP si mischiano evidenziando però in ogni caso la maestria che da sempre li contraddistingue.Nel primo dei due dischi saranno contenuti 12 brani inediti, mentre nel secondo verranno rispolverati 13 vecchi brani rivisitati appositamente per l’occasione insieme a ospiti d’eccezione, come Eugenio Bennato e il compianto Carlo D’Angiò, tra i fondatore della NCCP e presente nel toccante brano “Madonna de la grazia”

The atmospheric, melancholy, somewhat medieval soundscapes of Bel Canto (Italian for "beautiful song") mix an essentially synth-based, chamber-rock sound with a wide range of orchestral and folk instruments and have been compared to the Cocteau Twins. The group hails from Norway and consists of ethereal vocalist Anneli Marian Drecker, plus Nils Johansen and Geir Jenssen.

“INFINITY” is an album on which Polish pianist Adam Kośmieja shows his individual take on a legendary minimal music masterpiece: “Canto Ostinato” (1976) written by a Dutch composer Simeon ten Holt (1923-2012). Holt wrote music of trance, meditation, and at the same time, filled with very strong emotions, which built culminations based on repetitive musical structures. Its repetitiveness, motoricity and spaciousness go far beyond the realm of a classical piano music performance.
