To Believe is the fifth studio album by the British group The Cinematic Orchestra. It was released on 15 March 2019 through Ninja Tune and Domino. It is the group's first album in 12 years following Ma Fleur (2007), and will be supported by a tour in the second quarter of 2019. As with the group's previous work, it is jazz-inspired and features guests from the "global soul and jazz scene". The lead single, "A Caged Bird/Imitations of Life" featuring Roots Manuva, was released as a limited 12-inch single in independent record stores in January 2019.

Ennio Morricone was probably the most famous film composer of the 20th century. He was also one of the most prolific composers working in any medium. No exact figure is available, but he scored over 500 films over several decades, plus many dozens of classical works. While his film scores were in almost every imaginable musical style (and for almost every imaginable kind of movie), he was most identified with the "spaghetti Western" style of soundtracks, which he pioneered when providing the musical backdrop for the films of director Sergio Leone. Morricone's palette was extraordinarily diverse, drawing from classical, jazz, pop, rock, electronic, avant-garde, and Italian music, among other styles.

For over a decade, Mindless Self Indulgence, a four-member outfit based out of New York City featuring frontman Jimmy Urine, have been whipping crowds of eager fans in to furious riots with their heart-pounding electro-punk and death-defying stage antics. Over the years, they developed a devoted following, spawned bidding wars between major labels, and earned a reputation as a tough live act to follow, from clubs to arenas. With MSI currently on hiatus, Jimmy Urine is extending his creative palette in movie soundtracks and video game music including 'Metronomicon', 'I Want To Be Human', 'The Hive' and more. He has now collected all those songs and is releasing them as one compilation album that will be out on April 28th via The End Records on CD, Digital and Vinyl. In addition to this album, Jimmy Urine is also appearing in the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. II movie.

One of the most celebrated British guitar heroes to emerge in the late 1970s and '80s, Mark Knopfler first rose to fame as the leader of Dire Straits, where his songwriting and incisive guitar work played a decisive role in making them an international success story. Landing major chart hits on both sides of the Atlantic with songs like 1978's "Sultans of Swing" and 1985's "Money for Nothing" (the latter anchoring their landmark 1985 album Brothers in Arms), Knopfler's dry wit and smooth, earthy guitar style helped Dire Straits cut a unique throughline that somehow traversed both the more traditional pub rock style of the '70s and the excess of the MTV era.

Whether to categorize Motion as a jazz or electronica album is an intriguing conundrum, because it truly turns out to be a combination of both musical forms, and it is an unequivocally brilliant combination, at that. (allmusic.com)
