The Smashing Pumpkins: 1991-2000 Greatest Hits Video Collection is a DVD containing nearly all of The Smashing Pumpkins music videos released prior to the band's breakup in late 2000. Extras include an exclusive short film Try, a previously unreleased "I Am One" music video, behind-the-scenes and outtakes footage, two live videos, and commentary by Jimmy Chamberlin, Billy Corgan, James Iha, and the video directors. This DVD was released in 2001 in conjunction with Rotten Apples, a greatest hits compilation CD which also contains many of the same titles. Both the DVD and CD were certified Gold less than a month after their release.

Though they emerged alongside grunge acts like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, the Smashing Pumpkins were the group least influenced by traditional underground rock. Headed by principal songwriter and frontman Billy Corgan, they fashioned an amalgam of progressive rock, heavy metal, goth, psychedelia, and dream pop, creating a layered, powerful sound driven by swirling, distorted guitars that churned beneath Corgan's angst-ridden lyrics. One of the most visible alternative rock bands of the early '90s, they achieved mainstream success over the decade with classic releases Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness before entering an uneven and often tumultuous chapter that carried them into the 2000s.

Zach Day is an 18 year old bluesman who has recieved many amazing opportunities so far in his music career. In the past few years Zach has had many articles written about him in the paper along with making all-state and all-county jazz ensembles. Zach has had the chance to meet greats, such as B.B. King, Joe Bonamassa, Walter Trout, Tommy Emmanuel, and David Cook. He recently played at Ground Zero Blues club in Clarksdale, MI, with the great Terry "Big T" Williams and Josh "Razorblade" Williams…

This batch of re-edited songs from the legendary post-punk label includes dance floor classics ("Annie"), fresh mixes ("Almost Black"), and the odd rarity ("No Turn on Red"). The package will come with an extensive booklet with an introduction by Greg Wilson and sleeve notes by Bill Brewster.
