Garden of the Arcane Delights - The John Peel Sessions is a compilation coupling the re-issue of the first and only EP by Australian band Dead Can Dance and two different sessions for the BBC Radio One John Peel show. It was released in November 2016 on record label 4AD with the Peel-supervised recordings allowed by arrangement with BBC Music.

Today, Brendan Perry announces the reissue of his 1999 album, Eye of the Hunter, expanded for its first ever repress to now include a bonus live album Live at the I.C.A., recorded during 4AD’s infamous 13 Year Itch residency at the storied London venue in 1993.

When Mickey Hart's name is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is the drummer's years with the Grateful Dead. But in fact, Hart has done a lot of worthwhile things outside of the Dead, including some world music projects. Produced by Hart in 1990, Honor the Earth Powwow: Songs of the Great Lakes Indians is one of his crowning achievements. This CD, which Hart produced, documents a Native American powwow in a rural area of northern Wisconsin. For the uninitiated, a powwow is a traditional musical/spiritual ceremony by Native Americans; the powwow heard on this disc celebrates nature, God, and Native American culture.

"What fans heard in these four {Lyceum} shows was both a history of the Dead and a survey of their unique vision of American music, from folk to rock, with blues and R&B and country-and-western and Bakersfield all included, all melded together by the improvisational spirit of American jazz in a small-group format that owed much to European classical music."

Razormaid Records was formed in the mid-80s by Joseph Watt and Art Maharg in San Francisco, California as a music service for club DJs. Their goal was to offer something other than just the regular versions of the pieces of music that everyone had. They created their own special versions of songs, editing and occasionally remixing the hottest club tunes being played (or about to be played) around the world.
