Warner Bros. Pictures has announced that Heitor Pereira will be composing the music for the upcoming animated feature Smallfoot. The film is directed by Karey Kirkpatrick (Over the Hedge) and features the voices of Channing Tatum, James Corden, Zendaya, Common, LeBron James, Gina Rodriguez, Danny DeVito, Yara Shahidi, Ely Henry and Jimmy Tatro. The movie centers on a Yeti who is convinced that the elusive creatures known as “humans” really do exist. Bonne Radford (The Road to El Dorado), Glenn Ficarra & John Requa (Crazy, Stupid, Love, This is Us) are producing the project. Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (The LEGO Movie) are among the executive producers. Smallfoot is set to be released on September 28, 2018 by Warner Bros. Carla Bozulich states in the liner notes that Boy is her "pop" album. She knows the term is subjective. In her definition, the word reflects the multiple locations she wrote and recorded in, the numerous people encountered in her nomadic state of travel, and the various musical genres that can be – and often are – used to create pop. Bozulich doesn't "deconstruct" here. She uses vernacular song forms in an organic process of elocution and expression that makes something else of them while never quite emptying them of form or function. Instead, she finds the cracks that open them, and makes them bleed into others, ordered by an instinctive sense of aesthetic transgression that becomes creation. Boy was primarily written, produced, and played by Bozulich and John Eichenseer.

At 91 years old, Dave recorded peerless takes on best-known children's songs, beloved standards, and originals as a gift to his grandchildren and as his last studio recording. His playing, ingenuity and integrity, all hallmarks of great Brubeck recordings, are abundantly apparent on this album.
