"Way Down in the Jungle Room" is a compilation album by American singer Elvis Presley. The album features master recordings and outtakes from two recording sessions on February 2–8, 1976 and October 28–30, 1976 in the Jungle Room, a recording studio set up by Elvis in the den of Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee. The first disc subtitled "The Masters" features material from these sessions that were later released on "From Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Tennessee" (1976), and the subsequent final studio album, "Moody Blue" (1977). The second disc, "The Outtakes", features outtakes and "in-the-studio dialog" newly mixed by Matt Ross-Spang at the Sam Phillips Recording Studio.

In celebration of his seventy-fifth birthday, acclaimed German percussionist Günter Baby Sommer paired with trumpeter Till Brönner for this adventurous and surprisingly cohesive duo album, 2018's Baby's Party. At face value, Sommer and Brönner may seem like an odd match. A longtime exponent of creative avant-garde jazz and free improvisation, Sommer has played with such highly regarded luminaries as Wadada Leo Smith, Peter Brötzmann, and Cecil Taylor. Conversely, Brönner is one of the most recognizable German instrumentalists, whose albums often straddle the line between straight-ahead, and smooth jazz.

Florida-born Hank Locklin was one of the great soft crooners of the Nashville Sound era of countrypolitan pop. Like many of his contemporaries he had more rural roots, playing melodic honkytonk in his youth, but veering towards a more "sophisticated" sound in the late 1960s. "My Love Song for You" is an excellent collection of country ballads highlighted by "Danny Boy", "Longing to Hold You Again", "I Came So Close to Living Alone", and the hit single "Lovin' You (The Way I Do)".

The "+" in the title of Live+ refers to the two studio recordings tacked onto the end of this 2015 live set: a tense, cloistered original called "Tribal," where Jeff Beck spits out squalls of noise over thundering primal drums; and a cover of "My Tiled White Floor," a wash of electronic soul with vocals by Veronica Bellino that feels constructed out of faded memories of Prince. They're nice additions that wouldn't have quite suited 2010's Emotion & Commotion, nor do they quite feel of a piece with the rest of Live+, all recorded on tour in August 2014.
