Con lei sul palco alcuni dei più prestigiosi musicisti del panorama musicale nazionale ed internazionale: Tore Brunborg, sax, Luca Aquino, tromba, Nguyên Lê, chitarra, Matthew Garrison, basso, Alessandro Paternesi, batteria, Michele Rabbia, percussioni, e Maria Pia De Vito, voce. Un omaggio alla musica di Pino Daniele, soprattutto alla sua musica, il concerto sarà quasi esclusivamente strumentale, Maria Pia De Vito improvviserà con la sua straordinaria voce su alcuni brani.

La produzione di ECM è sconfinata ed estrarne una raccolta antologica sarebbe stato davvero improbo. Musica Jazz ha voluto così sottolineare un aspetto non sempre chiaro ai più, ovvero la qualità artistica e strumentale dei musicisti italiani, caratteristiche che hanno meritato l’attenzione di Manfred Eicher e del suo staff. E anche in questo caso la selezione non è stato semplice, costringendo a trascurare – obtorto collo ma per prosaiche ragioni di spazio – alcune eccellenti produzioni del passato.

Excellent collection of the early albums of Paco De Lucía, released from the spanish label Iberica Logos Music in 2003. From the 12 albums of the collection, 6 contain duets, 3 with flamenco guitarist Ricardo Modrego and 3 with Paco's brother, Ramon De Algeciras (1938-2009), also popular flamenco guitarist, permanent member of the Paco de Lucía Sextet. Young Paco (18 yo in 1965) is already a guitar phenomenon, a "fuera de serie", and he performs with vigor, technique and virtuosity, 134 guitar classics often backed by orchestra and percussions. All CDs include booklets with detailed information on the artists and the content. Enjoy an invaluable collection by the great master.

New version of the Paco de Lucía Integral, 27 CDs his complete work remastered. "Cositas Buenas", his last album, comes as a new in this new Integral. Now in a new economic format. This collection is a unique tour of the work of Paco de Lucia from 1964 to 2004. Paco de Lucía arranges and interprets, along with Ricardo Modrego, the songs brought together in the twenties by Federico García Lorca, most of which were collected from the canon of popular songs from the 18th century which Federico recorded in 1931, accompanied on the piano by Encarnación López, “La Argentinita”. The accompaniment given to every song is based on the rhythm of the songs as they were adapted by Lorca, above the basic tune they considered fitted with the Flamenco toque.

Francisco Sánchez Gómez (21 December 1947 – 25 February 2014), known as Paco de Lucía, was a Spanish virtuoso flamenco guitarist, composer, and record producer. A leading proponent of the new flamenco style, he was one of the first flamenco guitarists to branch into classical and jazz. Richard Chapman and Eric Clapton, authors of Guitar: Music, History, Players, describe de Lucía as a "titanic figure in the world of flamenco guitar", and Dennis Koster, author of Guitar Atlas, Flamenco, has referred to de Lucía as "one of history's greatest guitarists".
