The eighth album from Marissa Nadler, For My Crimes, is the sound of turmoil giving way to truth. The songs stare down the dark realization that love may not be enough to keep two people together through distance and differing needs. By asking these difficult questions about her relationships, Nadler has found a stronger sense of self and a sharper voice as both a songwriter and a vocalist, culminating in her most evocative entry in an already impressive discography. The album is set for release on September 28, via Bella Union and Sacred Bones.

Newly remastered by Paul Blakemore featuring 37 tracks: Coltrane’s breakout year, when his mature sound first grabbed ears and his own recordings began to sell consistently, was 1958. This release chronicles the exciting story session by session, featuring all 37 tracks Coltrane recorded as a leader or co-leader for the independent Prestige Records label in those twelve months. This collection captures him in creative high gear—developing the signature improvisational style that journalist Ira Gitler famously dubbed “sheets of sound.”

“We wanted to see if there was another way to live in this world,” says Jeff Gorman, one half of the breakout Virginia duo Illiterate Light. “We wanted to throw ourselves out into the wild and see if there was another way to tour and make music.” With their self-titled major label debut, Illiterate Light have managed to do just that, stretching boundaries and upending expectations with a captivating blend of soaring indie rock, swirling psychedelia, and atmospheric folk. Recorded with producers Adrian Olsen (Foxygen, Natalie Prass) and Vance Powell (Jack White, Kings Of Leon, Chris Stapleton), the record captures the band’s remarkable live setup Gorman simultaneously plays guitar with his hands and synth bass with his feet, while his musical partner, Jake Cochran, plays a standup drum kit and the scintillating energy that’s fueled their journey from a small-town organic farm to the star-studded roster of Atlantic Records.

Little Dragon—the pioneering Swedish four-piece fronted by enigmatic vocalist Yukimi Nagano, with multi-instrumentalists Håkan Wirenstarnd and Fredrik Wallin on keyboards and bass respectively and Erik Bodin on drums and percussion—return with their sixth studio album, “New Me, Same Us".

"Be My Lover" is the third studio album by R&B singer O'Bryan. It was O'Bryan's highest charting collection on the Billboard R&B Albums charts, peaking at #3. The first single - the insistent, chugging "Lovelite" - marched to the top of the Billboard R&B Singles chart. The success of "Lovelite" prompted Capitol to release "Breakin' Together" as the next single. But it was O'Bryan's penchant for ballads - the quiet storm staple "Lady I Love You;" the lovelorn "You’re Always On My Mind;" and "Go On And Cry," which was the third single - that shone as the album’s highlights. The title track also became known as one of O'Bryan's better uptempo songs.

Huron is back with his long awaited album "Inside Information". The Berlin based musician has come up with 13 original tracks for his album which sounds somewhere between the IDM/Glitch/Electronica. "Inside Information" is an accomplished coming of age for Huron, a conceptual LP that brings together the elements that worked so well on his previous albums, and mixed it into a robust, coherent statement.

Alice, once dubbed "the lost Tom Waits masterpiece" by the press, was originally done as an avant-garde opera directed by Robert Wilson for Hamburg's Thalia Theater in the winter of 1992. "Alice" was based loosely on Lewis Carroll's obsession with young Alice Liddell, the girl who inspired his Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass. Working with wife and collaborator Kathleen Brennan, they wrote fifteen songs for the Wilson opera in the summer of 1992. The Thalia performed "Alice" for eighteen months, with an eclectic orchestra of Waits' design.
