Keiko Lee is a distinguished jazz vocalist, who sings and plays so frankly even with the greatest jazz giants. She's been a regular winner as the best female jazz singer in Japan since 1997 through the reader's poll of Swing Journal, the most known jazz magazine in Japan. Though her attitude towards music is so rigorous and ardent, her caring and heart-warming character grasps the hearts of many enthusiastic fans as well as staff and of musicians. She has also been successful in the Asian and European markets as well, having concerts in Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, and other countries. She does not categorize herself as jazz, and is very eager to dig down from Motown tunes to rock and pop numbers, so tickets sell out fast when she appears in jazz clubs. There's just no comparison to Keiko Lee's soulful voice and virtuosity.

Otto Klemperer made many great recordings, especially conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra for EMI. This disc combines recordings made in 1960 (nine) and 1963 (eight). The remastering has deepened the tonal range and sound-stage and generally warmed the sound and they can be described as being very creditable for their vintage. The performances have authority and are both strong statements and are among the highlights of the later Klemperer discography.

Richie Beirach Trio - No Borders (2002) [Japan 2003]

No Borders focuses on classical pieces as a basis for improvisation, and, on the other hand, also contains a completely composed original composition by Beirach: "Steel Prayers", a piece for the victims of 9/11. To take classical pieces and open them for improvisation, without depriving them of their character, is also the basic principle in the cooperation with violinist Gregor Hübner.
