The Follow That Dream (FTD) collector's label has released 'A Date With Elvis' as a special double CD release in the Classic Album series and our order is on the way to us now. The set contains masters, outtakes and home recordings made during his Army time in Germany. A Date With Elvis' was released in July 1959 and was the second of three compilation albums released by RCA while Elvis was serving in the U.S. Army. The aim of all three albums, apart from keeping Elvis' name in the public eye, was to collect recordings that had only been out on 45 rpm records in order to take advantage of the fast-growing Long Playing album market. This 7" digipack 2-CD set also features stereo masters and 'fly-on-the-wall' persona; recordings made during his Army time in Germany. It also includes the 'Is It So Strange' Binaural session.

'Elvis Golden Records Vol. 3' is a new 2-CD release in the Follow That Dream (FTD labels classic album series. It features a 7" digipack with 12-page booklet. By the time Elvis' Golden Records Vol. 3 was released in August 1963, no one in rock 'n' roll up to that point, other than Elvis, had ever legitimately earned a second 'greatest hits' volume, much less a third. It also embodied the best commercial examples of Presley's new post-Army maturity, as both vocalist and musician, and the songs featured on this album achieved an unparalleled level of global chart success by any artist between 1960 and 1963.

1976 is not an easy Elvis live-in-concert year to review. There were no major set-list changes, no dramatic "emotional roller-coaster" of 1974 and no high-flying "Huntsville" 1975 excitements.
By late November 1976 however Elvis had become involved with new love Ginger Alden. As fans are well aware Elvis’ final 1976 tour of December is well known for having the most energetic and exciting concerts from this tiring and lacklustre year, however back in November Elvis was already more energised, losing weight and excited to be with Ginger.

Follow That Dream (FTD) have released 'Elvis Gold Records Vol. 4' as a Special Edition 2 CD set in their Classic Album Series, and our order is on the way to us now. It was 10 years after the release of Elvis' Golden Records in 1958, that RCA Victor released Elvis' Gold Records Volume 4. It contained seven 'B' sides and only five 'A' sides. Whether at the behest of Colonel Tom Parker, or RCA, the philosophy of not including tracks that already featured on existing albums weakened what could have been a more powerful and hit-laden compilation.
