Beautiful small duration (EP) album of the irish songwriter and singer Enya with the superb Gaelic version of the classic Christmas carol "Silent night" (Oiche Chiun) and four more tracks selected from previous Enya's albums: the title track to her 1987 debut solo album 'The Celts', plus "Ebudae" from her best-selling 1991 outing 'Shepherd Moons' and two tracks ("'S Fagaim Mo Bhaile" & "As Baile") from "Watermark". Her voice is angelic and "Oiche Chiun" is one of the most beautiful Silent nights ever recorded. A small diamond from the beloved vocalist, a 'must-have' for all her fans.

And Winter Came … - seventh studio album, the Irish singer Enya. On the upcoming release was announced on 12 September 2008 at the official website of Enya, and the album was released on November 10, 2008. The songs are mostly winter or Christmas theme. November 16, 2008 the album reached the sixth position in the UK charts. Since its release, it sold more than 1,679,000 copies worldwide. The album contains 12 songs: ten songs in English, plus «Oíche Chiúin» Gaelic and «Oh Come, Oh Come Emmanuel» in English and Latin. Two of the songs are previously unreleased versions of processed: «Oíche Chiúin» - dub song was originally published in 1988 as an extra track for the single «Evening Falls»; «And Winter Came …» - reworked the song «Midnight Blue», which was published in 2001 on the single «Wild Child».

Initially released simply as Enya, The Celts shows that the style she became famous for on Watermark was already well under way. With production and lyrical help fully in place thanks to her husband-and-wife gurus Nicky and Roma Ryan, Enya's combination of Celtic traditionalism and distinctly modern approach finds lush flower here. All the elements that characterize her music - open, clear nods to her Irish heritage, any number of vocal overdubs to create an echoing, haunting feeling, and layers of synth and electronic percussion - can be found almost track for track.

“Queen Of A New Age” is a heartfelt compilation of fantasy music artists coming together to celebrate Enya’s forty-four years of magical music making. Each track offers a fresh take on her timeless songs, paying homage with respect and love.
