Art Worker captured trumpeter Art Farmer in an interesting septet setting which sounds like a small big band with two trumpets (Farmer and Ernie Royal), a trombone (Jimmy Cleveland), a saxophone (alto, tenor or baritone by Oscar Estelle). The fine rhythm section comprises of Harld Mabern on piano, Jimmy Woode on bass and Roy McCurdy on drums. Recorded live in Frankfurt in 1968 when Farmer was living in Vienna, the program includes four compositions by Viennese musicians he had come to know: "Erwagung" and "Orientierung" by trombonist Erich Kleinschuster, "Delphine" by reed player Hans Salomon, and "Gradullere" by pianist Fritz Pauer. The other three songs are by Farmer.

Désobéissance est le titre du 11e album studio de Mylène Farmer. Ce sera son premier album publié chez Sony Music, après avoir sorti ses albums précédents chez Universal. Pascal Nègre a annoncé le 27 août 20181 la sortie de l'album pour le 28 septembre 2018. Cet album marque le retour de Mylène Farmer à la chanson suite à son dernier album Interstellaires sorti en 2015 chez Universal et Interscope et son rôle dans le film Ghostland de Pascal Laugier (qui lui avait réalisé le clip de City of Love).

Features 24 bit remastering and limited edition. Release Date: December 04, 2013. The idea of the Jazztet playing arrangements by John Lewis written especially for them is intriguing. According to Gene Lees' liner notes, Art Farmer first approached Lewis about writing something for the sextet, to which the composer replied that he'd rather score an entire record. Even though the Jazztet and Lewis' own group, the Modern Jazz Quartet, are dissimilar in many ways, the marriage is a successful one.

Art Farmer-Benny Golson Jazztet was a talent-studded little band, among the finest groups of its time (1959-1962), able and willing to try anything—notice the sextet’s exuberant romping on these two albums “Here and Now,” and “Another Git Together”—recorded in 1962. They feature only the co-leaders of the original band, but the replacements—trombonist Grachan Moncur III and a Harold Mabern Herbie Lewis—Roy McCurdy rhythm section—maintained the pungent blend of zest, relaxation, control and creativity that characterised the Jazztet at its best.

One of the best all-star sessions ever produced by the legendary Creed Taylor. Actually, this album represented the ressurrection of the CTI label in 1990. Digitally recorded and filmed (in High Definition) "live" at Van Gelder's studio, features such stars as Dizzy Gillespie, Airto, Flora Purim, Anthony Jackson, Art Farmer, John Scofield, and Phil Woods, who play together in such outstanding tracks like Michel Camilo's "Caribe" and Salif Keita's "Wamba", all arranged by Benny Golson.
