Samantha Karen "Sam" Fox is an English dance-pop singer, actress, and former glamour model. In 1983, at the age of 16, she began her topless modeling career on Page 3 of "The Sun", and went on to become an enormously popular pin-up girl. In 1986 she launched her pop music career with her debut single "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)," which became a Number 1 hit in five countries. She has since sold over 30 million albums worldwide. Greatest Hits is a 2009 compilation album by Samantha Fox. It was conceived and developed by British music producer, Carl M Cox, who approached Sony Music with the idea of releasing a definitive hits collection, having discovered a number of unreleased recordings at Pete Waterman's PWL studios to include with material from Fox's first four albums with Jive Records as well as her more recent recordings from the 1990s and early 2000s.
Eleven O' Seven is the debut release from Grace Fox with the Grace Fox Big Band (GFBB). Comprised entirely of women, The GFBB was an idea that was inspired to Grace by her studying of The International Sweethearts of Rhythm and The Diva Band. This album showcases the next generation of women in jazz, flown in from around the country to record standards, originals, and arrangements.
This is their 6th album. It contains 11 songs, including the theme song from the TV drama "Quartet," the classic live song "Cross View," and a cover of Coldplay's "Viva La Vida. The trio was formed in 2011 by three members who had been playing in bands with different personalities, aiming to create a passionate, cool, and new piano trio sound based on the concept of modern jazz-rock. They have performed at the "Brisbane Festival" in Australia, and have toured South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Russia, France, and three times in China (7 cities in total).
Earlier this year, instrumental jazz trio fox capture plan announced that they will be releasing a brand new studio record on September 5th. Titled “CAPTURISM”, this will be the group’s first album since last October’s “UИTITLƎD” and is currently planned to include ten new songs from the band.
