Frances has a best friend named Sophie, but they aren't really speaking anymore. Frances throws herself headlong into her dreams, even as their possible reality dwindles. Frances Madden is a Sydney based singer, pianist and songwriter. Frances Madden’s original songs and dis-tinctive interpretation of Classics and Jazz standards often take her sound beyond the Jazz genre – embrac-ing elements of swing, the blues and even pop at times. She grew up listening to artists like Diana Krall, Norah Jones, Eva Cassidy and Ella Fitzgerald who she acknowledges as influences.
