The time has come: The Camerata Musica Limburg is releasing its latest album with GENUIN featuring works by Franz Schubert for male choir. Since 2015, enchanted by their warm, round and flawlessly refined sound, we have listened enthusiastically to this vocal ensemble with every release. The sixth and final production now extends beyond Schubert: it unites arrangements and pieces inspired by him. They range from the romantic, sonorous arrangements of Silcher and Brahms to world premiere recordings by Marten Jansson and Christopher Tarnow. The male vocal ensemble Camerata Musica Limburg was founded in 1999 and has since been under the direction of Jan Schumacher. For the members of the choir, the founding is a further development of their common musical roots, which are in the choir of the Limburg Domsingknaben.

With its first of two GENUIN CDs, the Trio Boccherini proves that Beethoven's string trios are more than finger exercises by the composer along the way to writing quartets. Opus 9 is a rarely recorded and performed early work by the master, and yet they already reveal Beethoven in his entirety, as it were, in a tonally condensed form. The ensemble, alumnus of the European Chamber Music Academy, draws on members from three different continents to bring together diverse aspects of their musical education—at the highest level!

The composers Frédéric Chopin and Alexander Scriabin sought other worlds – to float, to ascend to heaven. Pianist Catalin Serban juxtaposes their piano works on his new GENUIN CD, made possible by Konzertleben e.V. and C. Bechstein grand piano. A multiple first prize winner at piano competitions in Germany, Italy, and Romania, Catalin Serban has established himself as a soloist and chamber musician. His work has focused intensively on the Romantic and early modern piano repertoire and chamber music literature. In this production, Catalin Serban presents sonatas, nocturnes, and fantasias by the two composers, who are vastly different and yet, in some respects, bear similarities. Serban's highly virtuosic and sensitive piano playing shows the paths of the two, away from compartmentalization and narrowness, towards new spaces and the greatest possible freedom of movement.

A new GENUIN album featuring the Leopold Mozart Quartet is dedicated to the string quartet works of composer Heinz Winbeck, who died in 2019. The Augsburg ensemble, made of four musicians who are active throughout Germany, is known for its high artistic quality, demanding programming, and enormous versatility. Winbeck's three string quartets were written in a period of only five years, between 1979 and 1984, and are the expression of a mature composer at the height of his powers.
